300332300332B000PEP4RUA281NPSIMI1C2RRebecca of Amazon "The Rebecca Review"2251212019200Tisane Meditation"Numi is a labor of love by a brother and sister. Through careful tasting, traveling and running teachouses, he has chosen Numi's exceptional line of organic teas. Her hand-painted images layered on tea-stained backgrounds capture the timeless essence of each tea." ~tea packet

This tea is quite flavorful and you can even put one spicy tea teabag with a regular teabag and still maintain a full flavor. I haven't tried the flowering teas, but have become intrigued with the Numi teas after trying the Ruby Chai (tm) Spiced Rooibos.

The quality of the Numi teas is immediately apparent. In a similar way to how the Tazo teas are blended, there is an art to making Numi teas. Each tea is hand-blended with organic whole leaf teas, pure herbs and real fruits. This tea contains Rooibos, Cloves, Allspice, Ginger, Cardamom, Nutmeg and Cinnamon. All organic! Each teabag is a work of art and the flavor of the tea is preserved in a natural filter paper and then packaged in biodegradable and recyclable paper.

Can be served with milk or is delicious alone with a natural cane sugar, honey or Stevia. If you enjoy this tea, you might also like Red Mellow, Sweet African Red, Bushmen's Brew or Golden Chai.

Now and then I brew one Tazo Tea Awake teabag with one Numi Spiced Rooibos and the result is a mildly spicy tea that wakes you up and is very comforting.

Numi Tea's Ruby Chai Spiced Rooibos Herbal Teasan is a premium Numi tea, both certified organic and kosher. The ingredients are fair trade certified organic rooibos, organic cloves, organic allspice, organic ginger, organic cardamom, organic nutmeg, and organic cinnamon. There is nothing artificial in this or in any Numi tea.

On the box, the manufacturer writes: "Earthy, vanilla organic Rooibos and a sultry blend of spices come together from around the world in Numi's caffeine-free chai. Warmed by the South African sun, Rooibos is lauded for its high anti-oxidant properties. It is full-bodied like black tea, yet soothing any time of day. We've sourced the highest quality cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon, mingling them with sweet Indian allspice and vivacious Chinese ginger. A kiss of cardamom unites this fabulous caffeine-free alternative to Numi's Golden Chai. Share in the savory warmth of Ruby Chai."

If you are used to black tea or coffee and are wanting to get accustomed to herbal caffeine-free teas, this is a great way to start, since the flavors are stronger and thus less subtle than most herbal teas. Although this is a "chai", note that it contains no sweeteners...I prefer this, but commercial chais often have sugar added, so be prepared for a wonderful no-calorie indulgence that is beautifully flavored but not "sweet" in the same way that sugar is.

If you like Numi teas, get it---you won't be sorry. If you are new to Numi but love chai, this will probably be the best you've ever had.

300334300334B004QDQZJCA22NAV8YVPGSENbeegee1151339372800Great flavorReally like the ease of use with this product. Fill your bottle with water and drop the tablet in. No powdery mess. Light, slightly bubbly and easy on the stomach.
300335300335B004QDQZJCA2MN1ILAE8N1LTJohn Doe0041346976000Excellent, tasty mineral supplementThe taste is good but subtle enough to not alter your consumption positively or negatively. I largely use this as a sodium supplement when NOT exercising (the scientific evidence is actually strongly against the use of electrolyte supplements during exercise: see Tim Noakes' excellent book Waterlogged for more details).

Some misc. notes:
* They are sweetened with trace levels (<1g) of sorbitol. I normally avoid any sugar alcohol other than erythritol because of the laxative effects but because the levels here are so low the sorbitol has no negative impact. And of course being a sugar alcohol and in such trace amounts it has no glycemic impact.
* Compared to other brands, the one negative is that these take quite a while (~10 minutes) to fully dissolve.
* There are some other negative ingredients like sesame oil (bad polyunsaturated fat) but probably in negligible quantities.
300336300336B004QDQZJCA3GJDKW5YT8PQWStella0051346544000I love this product!!!The GU SPorts Brew Electrolyte Tablets are fantastic!!! They are easy to use and much more tasty than other electrolyte tablets I have tried!!
300337300337B004QDQZJCA3N6RHLI4HIQYAAndrew P. Hackett0041338163200Great flavor but 10 tubes is too muchThe tri-berry flavor is great and the product definitely enables me to stay quenched because of the electrolytes. My one concern is that I would prefer a multipack of flavors because there are many great flavors.
300338300338B004QDQZJCA2MGFTJE14D4JXE. Phillips0031332547200Okay, but not the right option for meTried the orange flavored brew in my water bottle during a 10k run. I couldn't get past the fizz, which still hadn't gone away by mile 5 and I disliked the "feel" of the Stevia in my mouth. It also made me feel queasy, which I've never experienced with other energy drinks.
300339300339B004QDQZJCAW23J9DDCZBW4J. Brown0021330560000I'll stick with cytomax or *gasp* waterI got a tube of these as a free sample. Not sure I'll even use the whole tube.

It's hard to tell what they were going for with this. I'm not seeing much of an upside. It seems you're supposed to put it in water, let it fizz, and drink. I'm used to a powder you can dump in, shake a couple times, and drink. But, I found it took this a few minutes to fizz out and then I still had a little floating chunk. Maybe I should cap it up and shake it? Not sure. It wasn't exactly quick and easy.

Also, I didn't like the flavor. I like most lemon lime stuff, but this was very weak. I would have expected at least a little sour or tart flavor, but there didn't seem to be any. It has stevia in it, but it wasn't sweet, either. It had some flavor, but it wasn't a familiar one, like lemon, lime, or sweetness. Maybe it's the sorbitol?

Ok, it's sold as an electrolyte replacement, so I checked the nutrition info. One of these tablets has 320mg sodium (13% DV) and 55mg potassium (2% DV). It's ok, but not a huge selling point.

The current price here on amazon works out to 43 cents per serving. That's pretty steep compared to the alternatives. I'll stick with either water or something that also provides a bit of sugar (usually cytomax) for my liquids and S Caps for electrolytes. The S Caps are about 1/2 the price of the GU Brew and I can take 2 at a time if I'm sweating a lot without side effects.
300340300340B004QDQZJCAUWI9T9DJ2I8WJaymi Graves0051320192000PerfectI am a huge fan of these things. A little fizz makes the extra refreshing on my long bike rides. I much prefer the orange to the lemon lime ones, they have quite a bite to them.
300341300341B004QDQZJCA3A7SS0RB1MXECSam Pettway0041312156800Handy but expensiveI like GuBrew the best of all the sports drinks, especially for long runs (10 miles +) when Gatorade's sweetness can be cloying. I carry one or two of these tablets to make refills a cinch, but for normal uses I prefer the large container of powdered GuBrew--much, much less expensive.
300342300342B001CGMSQUA2YNHIOIUUE3E3D. Ross "katiebrie"1151236729600High Quality Beef TreatsI have two dogs who primarily prefer chicken treats. I've been on the lookout for beef treats -- as a change of pace for them -- but they're particular and don't like most of the ones I've tried (from cheap to average to pricey). They loved these -- almost as much as their chicken. They are thin circles of beef about 2 inches in diameter and easy for them to chew. There aren't a bunch of additives. Highly recommend these!
300343300343B001CGMSQUA3AHAQ9E7H91U1Dan Hagen0051301702400Healthy food-grade treats: RARE!It's not so much the price, etc. Do you know how hard it is to find treats using human-grade food and that is NOT made in China? Do you know how many so-called treats are actually bad for your dog. LOTS. Look closely at your treat ingredients. same with almost all dog food. Do some research. You'll get scared--even of the so called premium brands. As for this, got mine at Costco. Dogs liked it; but more important, it's healthy for them
300344300344B001CGMSQUA2QUYDD6IT2BZ7sandyrik0051283040000Doggy dollarsI love these chews I use for training treats. Can be easily torn in four pieces. Can put in a pocket and it isnt greasy. Also a healthy treat.
300345300345B001CGMSQUA2B4IPOOKFLSQFDenise J williams "djw"0051275696000They LOVE it!I first found this product at Sam's Club, and was delighted it was available on Amazon. It isn't always at Sam's...
The pugs will do anything to be rewarded with them. Soft, fragrant and obviously tasty [ I am assuming this because their rapt attention follows opening the jar] the dollars are a perfect size and texture to break into pieces for rewarding.
The price is right too!
300346300346B001CGMSQUAL1HSCICK2KJLJust Older0031236297600Nice treat, but not sure it's better than cheaper alternativesI wanted treats that would be appropriate for training. My dog doesn't seem more interested in these treats vs other cheaper treats. Maybe it depends on the dog. The treat does crumble easy which can be a plus or minus - all depends on how you want to use. Both of my dogs enjoy the treat, but I'm not sure it is worth the premuim price.

I've already placed two orders, and will probably place another one as that's how good it is. The colors are wonderful, and the selection in each tin is really varied. I pass it out to co-workers who find it irresistible, so now I'm on tap to continue bringing some in. Anyone looking for some great taffy will not be disappointed in this!!!
300352300352B001FW97F6AUYT2H281GPNJRockster1141347235200Birch XylitolI am always looking for an alternative sweetener to get away from fructose. Most of the artificial sweeteners on the market are terrible for your health - I will name splenda as one of the worse. Stevia is made directly from the dried leaves of the Stevia plant so that is acceptable, but I find it kind of bitter and it is very expensive. You can google "xylitol benefits" and get all kinds of interesting information, but I will just reiterate some of the very interesting benefits I found when googling:

Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol that has been recognized by dentists and health professionals worldwide as a great alternative to white sugar.

Commonly found in chewing gum and breathmints, Xylitol is known to have a many health benefits associated with its use.

1. Safe For Diabetics
Unlike sugar, xylitol is not easily converted to fat. Because it is not easily converted to fat, it has almost no effect on insulin levels, making it a safe sugar alternative for diabetics, body builders, dieters, pregnant/nursing women, and also for babies and children.

2. Helps Prevent Cavities
Since it is a non-fermentable sugar, it cannot be converted to acid by oral bacteria. Thus, the alkaline-acid balance in the mouth is maintained, which helps in preventing cavities.

3. Helps Prevent Ear Infections
Xylitol can also be used as medicine in prohibiting certain bacterial growth to help prevent ear infections in young children. It will also help clear out earwax and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the pharyngotympanic tubes, connecting the nose and ear.

4. Slows the Growth of Candida
Xylitol helps prevent bad breath, ulcers, and stomach cancer by slowing down the growth of Candida Albicans (a serious yeast infection), and other harmful bacteria like H. pylori.

5. May Improve Bone Density
According to research from the University of Oulu in Finland, xylitol was shown to help improve bone density in rats. This indicates it has potential as a treatment for osteoporosis in humans. For optimal bone health, it is recommended that you eat foods high in calcium or take a calcium supplement.

6. Helps Tooth Enamel & Strength
In addition to preventing cavities, consuming xylitol in small amounts helps decrease plaque formation, and promotes salivation to prevent "dry mouth", which aids in enhancing mineral absorption for repairing damaged tooth enamel, while increasing tooth strength.

7. Increases White Blood Cell Activity
Xylitol, when taken in small amounts, can help increase the white blood cell activity in fighting bacterial infections, to help build immunity, protect against chronic degenerative disease and have anti-aging benefits.

8. Prevents Streptococcus mutans In Newborns
When used by nursing mothers on a regular basis, it helps reduce the transmission of Streptococcus mutans (oral bacteria that causes cavities) to children by up to 80% during the first two years.

9. May Help With Allergies & Sinus Infection's
When used as a nasal spray, xylitol is said to be able to help reduce the prevalence of sinus infections, asthma and allergies. It helps decrease the amount of harmful bacteria that may be in the cells of our nose.

10. May Lower Risk of Ovarian Cysts
Xylitol may help lower your risk of developing ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome (a condition that disrupts or stops the ovulation cycle), fibroids, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome and possibly breast cancer.

So, there appear to be a lot of benefits. For negatives, there are a couple. If you are looking for xylitol on the market, you will find that most of the xylitol offerings come from corn sources. Now, almost all corn is GMO and I personally stay away from genetically modified food. So, looking for xylitol from some other source, I ran across this brand which uses organic birch trees. The other negative is that xylitol can cause gas in some people. It really bothers my wife, so she stays away from it in food. It does make me a little gassy, but if you use it in small amounts, it appears to be fine. I like to use it in mixed alcoholic drinks instead of sugar. I tried to slip some into some muffins I made, but my wife detected the after-effects, so she put a kibosh on that use around the house.

So, it is kind of expensive, but this 1.5 lbs will get you by if you use it to sweeten coffee, mixed drinks, etc. It does taste pretty close to regular sugar and it does have some health benefits as stated above. I like it in muffins and other baked goods - I just have to eat whatever I make by myself since the wife does not like the after-effects. If you are a non-GMO person, then this is the brand for you.

300357300357B000CR3YWWAK8NUEPK6DQBRCubicle Warrior0051339113600Excellent taste, very convenient packaging, great for lunchI've been having one of these for lunch regularly, paired with whole wheat crackers;
it's a quick and filling lunch, protein packed,
and very tasty (the Sweet and Spicy flavor is especially good, and so is the Hickory Smoked one).

And the convenience is unbeatable - there's no need for refrigeration,
all you need is a fork or spoon and a napkin, and a paper plate if you want one.

You can always add some fresh green salad or fruits to round off the meal.

I've actually lost about 8 pounds over the last month, and some or most of that has to do
with having this for lunch instead of eating out.

The cost seems to vary across grocery stores, from $1.79 per packet to about $3.50.

Regarding mercury contents in tuna, the MA state guidelines have this to say:

Can I eat canned tuna?
Yes. "Light" tuna as opposed to "Chunk
White" tuna (also called albacore) contain lesser amounts of mercury.
Consumers should eat no more than 12 ounces per week.
Very small children, including toddlers, should eat less than 12 ounces per week.

It has a light flavor, not overly sweet - so it is good for daily drinking - and very low acid. I especially like that it is part of the Newman organization and that their company gives a percentage of all proceeds to their foundation, so when you use their products, you are helping children get well, be healthy, and have better lives. But even if you don't care about that, then you might care that it is organic. This term is highly regulated in the U. S., so the use of it means that the product is healthier that those products that don't carry the tag, and it is just good ocffee!

This is a major over pricing for a very good product. I would give the sauce 4 stars if it were not for the inflated price. I wanted to buy another one to give to a friend for the solstice but dang they were sold out at the store. Definitely try this but not at this price.
