247922247922B004T3QMD8A21VGNU5959O85Laura Terese Henri0051319673600Perfect Hot Fall Beverage.I grew up on the International Coffees, Cafe Vienna, Cafe Francais, Dark Mayan Chocolate, Orange Cafe, its what I grabbed if I didnt want regular coffee, or just plain hot chocolate.

First off Maxwell House up and changed the can design. Im all for nostalgia, so when a company revamps thier look, I get a little sad. I understand the need, I just dont like it!

Secondly, The Pumpkin Spice Latte is delicious. Just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. The directions say to use 4 tsp, I always use more, because I like it a bit stronger. It has a warm, spicy, smooth creamy taste. Comforting, and yummy, and so perfect for the weather that is starting to change to colder now (in florida that means going from the 90's to the 70's) I would buy this again for sure, I hope its not a seasonal flavor because I would drink this year round.

It's a good alternative to Starbucks. And with this you know exactly how many calories you are getting as well. My seventeen year old son liked it so much he made a second cup right away. I've not seen this in the stores yet, but I believe you can get this through Amazon's Subscribe and Save program at rather good deal. It would make a nice gift for the holidays as well. Combine this with a snowy afternoon, a good book and a fire in the fireplace for a cozy afternoon treat.
247924247924B004T3QMD8A1PL8JA0TEHBVNPaulo Leite0041319673600Very good... but...I liked the flavor of this latte... but I'm used to those Nespresso machines. And so far they remain unmatched.
But this Maxwell latte is a good choice if you want a easy, simple coffee.

The texture is fine and the aroma is quite rich. Give it a try and you might love it.
247925247925B004T3QMD8A2E3NAL9ECE7VSH. Erickson-Sander "Heather"0051319587200Saves my money from the big chains!I've been a long-time consumer of Maxwell House International Coffee drink mixes, but I had never tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte flavor before. I've always loved their mocha and "Vienna" flavors, so I was excited to try this seasonal flavor. It definitely hit the spot! It takes almost the same as the Starbucks version of the drink. The pumpkin flavor isn't overwhelming, it's mild, but I prefer it this way. The spice and sweetness are, in my opinion, just right.

One thing I noticed about this mix specifically is that it foamed up at the top quite a bit more than any of the other flavors. I loved the foam on the top, just like a real coffee house latte.

Whenever I buy these Maxwell House mixes at the store I cringe a little bit at the cost (I'm a cheapskate at the store), but then I always remind myself that I'm often willing to pay $5 a drink when I go to a coffee shop. So I have started to really prefer the Maxwell House mixes not only because it saves me money in the long run (one can costs less than one of my regular drinks at the shop!) and I can also be assured of the taste & quality ALL the time. It can be hit or miss at the coffee shop, sometimes the barista doesn't quite hit the mark on my drink and I end up disappointed and feeling like I wasted money.

One thing I will say about this mix, as I've noticed with all Maxwell House International Coffees, is that I always end up using more mix than the directions say to use. Using the recommended amount makes for a weak drink. Also, I like some flavors made with water, some to be mixed in with actual coffee, and some are better made with milk. This is one I think does well with milk, perhaps it's the latte part?

Having tried one of their seasonal flavors now I'm excited to try more, I think I'll branch out a little. I have never tried a Maxwell House mix I didn't like, so far! I also think these cans make for excellent treats, perfect for gift baskets, care packages, stocking stuffers, etc. I liked the size and the new label design. I won't hesitate to gift some this holiday season.
247926247926B004T3QMD8A2I05FGBTCRRB8anon "anon"0051319587200yummmm!I love pumpkin, and this instant coffee makes a really good hot pumpkin latte! It has a nice cinnamon flavor mixed in with the pumpkin and just really tastes like autumn. It's very sweet, but hits the spot when you are craving a little sweet treat.

I also tried adding some to already made coffee (instead of adding regular cream and sugar) and that was good too, and it cut back on the sweetness, yet still had a nice pumpkin spice flavor. That is probably how I'll have it more often.

If you like pumpkin spice, you will really enjoy this! :)
247927247927B004T3QMD8A1CC1IKCUIQMUVR. Larkin "Rosemarie"0041319587200Thin but nicely balanced tasteMixing this product exactly as directed using boiling water yields a rather thin drink. The balance of sweet to spice is good (not too sweet) and it foams up a good head as you stir. For my preference, there was too little coffee taste. Next time, I will mix it with hot coffee instead of water. Others might prefer to use milk to make it a little richer.

Allover, a tasty product nice to have on hand for the holidays.
247928247928B004T3QMD8A37FFWZUGO8L7WFrancis Tapon0041319587200Tasty instant coffee with a unique flavorPROS:
- It tastes sweet and has small caffeine kick.
- It works with either water or milk. (In fact, it already has nondairy creamer and dehydrated milk in it).

- It's got lots of additives (sugar, partially hydrogenated coconut oil, artificial flavor, dipotassium phosphate, etc...)

CONCLUSION: You don't buy instant coffee for the health benefits; you buy it for convenience and decent taste. This product easily meets such criteria.
247929247929B004T3QMD8A1TNK6MP89YXY2Jamie R. Wilson0051319587200Delicious!I'm already a big fan of Maxwell House International café products and had high expectations for the Pumpkin Spice Latte based on that experience combined with my love of pretty much anything pumpkin-flavored. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but when I do I want it fast and with little hassle. I'm all for being able to toss a few teaspoons of coffee mix into a mug, adding in hot water, and getting back to more important things--as long as it tastes good and once again Maxwell House did not disappoint. The Pumpkin Spice latte is delicious and may have just become my favorite of the line. Even better is that it comes in the slightly larger 9-ounce container (versus the 8.4-ounce one).
247930247930B004T3QMD8A15R00LN8L815Zmickey71 "mickey71"0031319500800A little too sweet for meIf there was some cross between this and the Green Mountain pumpkin k-cups, it would probably be perfect for me. The k-cups don't pack quite enough flavor for me, while this Pumpkin Spice Latte is a little too...pumpkiny? I made it with milk and thought it was delicious at first, but the more you drink the sweeter it gets. It did froth up really nicely, and was quite tasty at first.

It's fine, and I'm sure I'll use the entire tin, but I'm not sure that I'd get it again.
247931247931B004T3QMD8AIREHOF22MIBMVital Spark0041319500800A nice treat.Really rather nice: rich, creamy, flavorful, and not too sweet. An excellent alternative to a mug of hot chocolate, with the same feeling of giving oneself a treat. Just the thing for a chilly autumn afternoon.
247932247932B004T3QMD8A2S3MUP7B22XICLiz "Liz"0041319414400Creamy, rich, pumpkin spiced and not overly sweetRemember those International Cafe powdered hot drink mixes from the 90's when lattes were first becoming a popular mainstream thing? Apparently they still make those. It's Maxwell House International Latte Pumpkin Spice. It genuinely tastes like a real latte with pumpkin spice flavor and it actually has foam on top. I don't know how they do that but it makes a tiny fizz sound when you add the water. The directions say four tsps per six to eight ounces of boiling water but that you can customize your flavor by adding more. I found the four tsps in eight ounces very weak, clear and watery. Five wasn't enough either, six was getting there but I found seven was the closest to getting the full strength correct. So that comes to 105 calories and I think that's fairly low for a treat when compared to a Starbucks latte for example. It's not overly sweet with mostly coffee, cream and subtle pumpkin spice flavors. I really enjoyed it on this fall afternoon. The container is recycleable.

247933247933B004T3QMD8ADS99W8WMEXZ2Michelle Dunn "Author, columnist"1251320278400Delicious and SeasonalThis Maxwell House International Coffee Pumpkin Spice Latte is delicious, and creamy without adding anything but water. Very thick and tasting of pumpkin spice. I just wish it came in a larger size!
247934247934B004T3QMD8A3CG93783LP0FOYarii1211320105600Flavor too bland and loaded with sugarI'm a flavored coffee and a latte aficionado, but tasting this pumpkin spice latte made me reach for a nice, tall glass of ice water and a salty dill pickle to get the sweet taste out of my mouth. Made according to the directions with 4 teaspoons of powder and 6 ounces of boiling water, it was too weak. I had to double the amount of mix for it to taste decent, but then the carbohydrate count became 22 grams with the sugar at 16 grams (doubled). I'd rather have a slice of pumpkin pie. I didn't taste the slightest hint of coffee either. This is the first time I've ever poured a coffee drink down the drain.
247935247935B004T3QMD8A28FJ93TJSSQS4LMS1251320019200Delicious and not too sweetThis is a very delicious treat. I brought this in to share with my co-workers and everyone is enjoying this. This got a thumbs up from everyone. The pumpkin flavor is definitely there but it is not overpowering. This is not too sweet. This is perfect for a mid afternoon pick-me-up. I would definitely get this again.

247937247937B004T3QMD8A2FVD05Z2FYW1PJ. Silva1231319587200Perfect for holiday guestsThese coffees are usually too sweet for my taste, and this one is no exception. However, the Pumpkin spice flavor blends nicely with the creamer in this mix, and makes a nice treat for a morning visit with a friend or for a quick pick-me-up after holiday shopping. Easily and quickly, you have a special holiday treat to enjoy with a pumpkin muffin. If you want more coffee flavor and to tone down the sweetness, try adding a teaspoon of instant coffee to the mix before pouring in the hot water. This is a holiday special, so if you like it enough to drink it all winter, stock up!

247939247939B004T3QMD8A3CNJR9MD5BFKLSuzi Hough "The Fashion Piranha!"1231319587200Dude, where's the coffee??As I sit here drinking my Pumpkin Spice Latte, I'm enjoying the experience. It's a very sweet drink - I hate to think how much sugar must be in here - and the cinnamon spice is very pleasant. It's not quite a pumpkin flavor to me, but a more generic 'holiday spice' type of blend. But it's nice.

There's very little coffee taste in this drink, though. I didn't notice any and I was looking for it. Too bad. I think that the slight bitterness of the coffee would have really helped balance the sugary sweetness, and made this an even better drink.

In terms of replicating a latte, I was really impressed by how foamy the drink was - and how long the foam lasted. Another reviewer mentioned that it was an excellent substitute for a mug of hot chocolate, and I agree...this Pumpkin Spice Latte has a similar creaminess and mouth-feel to hot chocolate.

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that the original serving amount - 4 teaspoons in a mug - was very weak and watery. I kept adding more powder until the drink felt right, and I reckon I must have doubled the dosage amount.
247940247940B004T3QMD8A147FUNITGB21IMatthew Gardner "monster_jester"0131321920000Not Bad for Instant CoffeeI was pleased with the fact that this stuff was not overly sweet, and the pumpkin spice flavor was rich. The powder didn't clump, and it really was frothy and nice like a Latte, just like it said it would be. It's not exactly mind blowing, but I actually enjoy it and find it easily augmentable with sugar, milk, etc., or even a little fresh brewed.
247941247941B004T3QMD8A3QEJ40NQEW36QDesired FX "Call me Don. It's shorter than Is...0141320883200It's not exactly a coffee, but it's pretty good.I'd say it's more like an alternative to hot chocolate: no real coffee taste that I could distinguish, but a nice, homey, warming flavor as you drink it.

As with other instant blends, you have to play around a bit with the mix-to-water ratio, but when you get it right, this is an altogether pleasant drink to help you wind down at the end of a stressful day. Or even in the middle of one.
247942247942B004T3QMD8A2AWVROFGSZU4EMy Fake Name0131320278400Weak or unhealthfulWhen made according to the directions on the container, which is 4 teaspoons to a cup (8 ounces) of boiling water, the result has no coffee flavor that I could detect, so calling it latte is misleading.

I made a second batch of Maxwell House International Coffee Pumpkin Spice Latte, 9-Ounce Cans (Pack of 4) using about FIVE times as much powder and nearly boiling skim milk, which made it more flavorful and less weak-tasting, of course, but I still detected no coffee flavor, just spices that I think include cinammon and nutmeg.

The mixture either way does produce a foam on top, even without stirring, which is interesting. As time passes and you drink the level down the foam remains on top (albeit with ever-shrinking bubbles over time).

I will not replace this product, and I subtract 3 stars from 5 because of its high price per unit of mouth-pleasure to me and its low flavor and its low healthfulness ratio when used at full-flavor strength and its high degree of coffeelessness.

However, unlike some previous reviewers, I subtract no stars because it does not smack of pumpkin flavor. I'm not sure, which is noteworthy, but I don't think this powder was ever designed to smell or taste or look or feel or sound like pumpkin. The label on the container is confusing, and it differs from the name of the product on the Amazon description page, but either way I think it is not supposed to taste like pumpkin. I confess I chose this product because I thought it would taste like pumpkin, which is a flavor I like. Sometimes in the heat of the moment choosing products I make mistakes:)

However -- just to be clear -- whichever name you use there's no doubt it is said to be a latte, which is by definition the flavor of coffee with milk and which, as I said, it does not taste of which at all to me.

However, it does make for a good addition to a pumpkin smoothie. The spices add a fine kick, and for this off-label use I add back 1 star.

However, if you decide to use the product this way, keep in mind that the first two ingredients are sugar and non-dairy creamer, which presumably means you'd want account for them in your recipe.

Anyway, having so much left over, I decided to try some off-label uses, and here's what I found.

-- If you sprinkle on and rub in 2 teaspoons of this powder on each side of a one-inch-thick, 24-ounce ribeye steak and sear it for 2 minutes on a side in a little butter and olive oil and then bake it at 400 F for another 6 minutes or so till it reaches an internal temp of around 120 degrees F and then let it rest for 3 minutes in a loose aluminum-foil tent so the juices can resorb throughout the meat, the dog will eat it. If you do all that to a second 24-ounce ribeye steak and then cut it into pieces that are small enough, the cat will eat some.

People will not.

-- As a substitute for a gasoline additive such as STP, this product is not successful. It turns out you should really not pour several ounces of what is more sugar and non-dairy creamer than anything else into your 1994 Thunderbird's gas tank unless you have an extra several hundred dollars lying around to pay for the expense of removing all traces of it from what turn out to be many, many parts of your car.

-- As a substitute for a natural fertilizer such as manure, for most U.S. farmers this will prove to be too expensive. If you need as little as 500 pounds of real manure per acre, for example, you will need over $3,600 worth of Maxwell House International Coffee Pumpkin Spice Latte, 9-Ounce Cans (Pack of 4) for that same acre.

The Amazon description page for the 9-ounce package says each ounce costs 91 cents, which means $14.56 per pound, which means $7,280 for 500 pounds. Even if we reduce that by 50% for a quantity discount, that's still $3,640 per pound, which in terms of manure is exactly 2.1333 orders of magnitude higher, which is why you don't see a lot of reviews from farmers who've tried this as I have. Also, all the crops you raise on land you treat this way and all the animals you let graze on it for the next five years will die.

-- The empty container, according to embossing on the bottom of it which no other reviewer seems to have noticed, is both diswasherable on the top rack and non-microwavable.
247943247943B004T3QMD8A1VABWDOUQLULZS. K. Harrell0131320278400The candy version of Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice LatteI was first concerned about the ingredients of this beverage when I read its vague disclaimer: "Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and different information than what is shown on our website. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product." Ingredients were not listed at Amazon, but according to this even if I looked them up on the product site they may be inaccurate?? That's no help to someone with a food intolerance. In reality, the ingredients of individual products aren't listed on the Maxwell House site at all.

I ordered it anyway, and of course the first thing I notice in the ingredients is an unsourced "maltodextrin," which is a problem for people who require a gluten-free diet. Further, below the ingredient list where the allergen warning is it says only "milk." That either means that their source of maltodextrin is clean, or they don't know. To be on the safe side, I would urge those with Celiac to steer clear of this beverage.

That said, the next thing I noticed is the partially hydrogenated coconut oil, corn syrup solids, and the high amount of sugar. Definitely not something to have on a regular basis. Adding water to the mix it crackled. Beyond that, there was no latte-like foam, as the packaging indicates.

The spice flavor was OK--I personally like that aspect to be pretty strong in such drinks. There was no pumpkin flavor, and almost no coffee flavor. Beyond that, it was way too sweet. I added more of the mix, but it only got sweeter, not more flavorful. Indeed, it tastes like the candy version of the Starbucks product. After two sips I was finished.

In all, the spice flavor is good, but that's it. The vague labeling and high amount of things I don't normally consume are enough to put me off of it. If you aren't worried about that and crave a warm, milky spice beverage, this may be the one.
247944247944B004T3QMD8A23KA66VAK9PUAS. Sigley "plant lady"5521319846400Where's the coffee? The strongest taste out if this product is the non-dairy creamer and it's heavy on that. It doesn't even taste like coffee or pumpkin spice...very weak. Since I don't particularly care for the taste of powdered non-dairy creamer, I can't give it more than 2 stars.
247945247945B004T3QMD8A7YMD8MSOBO1ISharon Beverly3321319587200Doesn't Have a 'Latte' FlavorI have enjoyed Maxwell House's latte products but, don't like the flavor of this one. Making it to the manufacturer's specifications, I mixed in 1 1/3 tablespoons (that's 4 teaspoons)to 6-8 ounces of water. The foamy top layer looked good, just like a restaurant latte. But, the proof is in the aroma (light pumpkin spice scent) and the drinking. I did not taste the coffee at all. In fact, it was more of a tea-like flavor. Too weak.

Reading the ingredients list is a sojourn into a science class. To paraphrase an old TV commercial, it's 'better living through chemistry'. Chemists have created many products that mimic natural ones--just not this one.

While I like pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice scented candles and the like, I don't care for this drink. And neither did two others who tried it.
247946247946B004T3QMD8A1P77JG6PMRRPKDivascribe5641319587200Good made with water, better with milkIt's been years since I tried an International Coffee flavor, and I find that the brand has definitely improved. Years ago, their coffees had a bitter aftertaste that I didn't like. I didn't find that problem with Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yes, it's instant coffee and as such not quite as good as coffee made the regular way, but I enjoyed the pumpkin spice flavor and the ease of preparation. I made it first with boiling water, adding coffee creamer after it was made. Then I tried making it with hot milk. I definitely liked the latter version better. The coffee has a nice foam on top and takes just a couple of minutes to make. A good choice when you're in a hurry or at your desk.
247947247947B004T3QMD8A1N9OA03PECA38David N. Parker "pflagtnet"1151322265600Excellent new seasonal flavorThis is an excellent new seasonal flavored latte! It is a very good, smooth blend af coffee, pumpkin, and spice flavors like I would want in a savory pumpkin pie. Like all the Maxwell House International Latte flavors, pumpkin spice goes well with food - think Thanksgiving - or by itself. It is great to share with your loved ones for a comfortable late afternoon sit-down in a warm and bright sun room.
247948247948B004T3QMD8AKT8TGIT6VVZ5John Kwok1151321660800Great Holiday Latte To Celebrate This Season of JoyMaxwell House offers a great twist on a holiday treat; pumpkin spice latte. I can't think of a more appropriate drink for this season, with the possible exception of hot apple cider. However, potential consumers should be forewarned, I would recommend modifying the instructions by using only two, maybe three, heaping teaspoons - depending on your own personal taste - in making a drink; otherwise, you may find the taste a bit too robust in pumpkin spice flavor. While it is best served with hot water, one can get by stirring these spoonfuls in room temperature water. Some may view this as a less desirable drink for the holiday season, but I can't think of one as suited for a Thanksgiving dinner as this.
247949247949B004T3QMD8A3EP6YVAYS9YM3Book Worm1141321574400Cinnamon LatteThe predominant flavor of this drink is of a latte with cinnamon. There is just a hin of coffee and pumpkin flavor in this mix. For 2 cups of hot water, what my mug holds, I need 2 heaping tablespoons to get full flavor from this mix. It's also very lightly sweetened so I usually have to add sugar. Some may not need to do this, though. The mix is also very powdery and needs to be stirred for a while before it fully incorporates into the hot water. And lastly, the container is made of some sort of reinforced cardboard. The tins were definitely better in my opinion. But all in all, I'd have to say that this is a nice treat to enjoy this holiday season.
247950247950B004T3QMD8A1D7VWS3DWS7X8Joseph Siegler1121321488000OK in a pinch, but otherwise, "meh".My wife is a big fan of Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte, so when I saw this item crop up, I got her one, thinking it might be something that could satiate her cravings for the Starbucks cup of the same flavor.

The report back from her was "it's a good thing you got that from Amazon Vine, and didn't pay for it, because if you did, I would have said you wasted your money." Asked her if it was really THAT bad, and she said, "Well, if you have no other coffee in the house, it's OK, but otherwise it wasn't very good".

So from someone who is a big fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, this gets a thumbs down from the wife.

Additionally, if you look at the list of ingredients on the side, pumpkin is not one of the ingredients. Just a lot of words like "Maltodextrin" & "Dipotassium Phosphate". Uh, hello? Pumpkin in a pumpkin spice flavoring, please?
