The resulting observations were converted into a temperature map showing a range from 700 to 940 C. The planet was discovered by the transit method: the planet appears to pass in front of its star as seen from Earth, reducing the light from the star by 3%.

Johnny performed over 6 jumps. Two ramps, one for takeoff and one for landing were used in the attempt. the ramps were built by professionals who built ramps also for Travis Pastrana amongst others. All measurements were measured by the witnesses and further confirmed with GPS readings.
