Eight grills were used to cook the meat and a staff of approximately 80 people were involved in the entire process which lasted about six hours.The record was broken during the 100th anniversary celebrations of the city of Mexicali.'Don Fileteo' provided the meat, 'Tortilleria La Nortena' provided the dough for the tortilla, 'Tortimaq' designed the oven the taco was cooked on, 'Clasifruit Cardona's' provided the vegetables, 'Flor de Baja' provided an accompanying guacomole sauce (100 kg, not included in record) and the marketing was done by 'Ideas que Venden'.
